I really shouldn't have read these books...

So while I am shopping Monday night, I decide to pick up a copy of "Twilight". I got tired of waiting for one of Mel's friends to drop it off. I took it home and started reading a bit that evening...It is now Friday morning and I have finished "Twilight" and "New Moon" and am going to have to brave Black Friday before going in to work to pick up "Eclipse". Mel, Nate and I went to see the movie Wednesday night after church was over. I enjoyed the movie but as any reader knows...
I did not enjoy reading "New Moon". I found it so difficult to read through her pain. I was so thankful that Mel had already told me a bit about their future or I might not have made it through. Even so, it was difficult to read through my own tears. I really do get caught up in books too easy.

New Moon is my least favorite part only because it is so emotional for me. But the more I read it the more I like it. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series.

I think I will have to go back and read it again after I am finished with the series so I can catch all of the things in it...I cried through the whole book and I am sure I missed a lot. Do you have any theories on why these books affect us the way they do?

New Moon begins filming in February. Maybe it will be out of your system in time to see the movie. At chapter 3 my tears were uncontrollable!

I'm just VERY happy with Edward Cullen in the movie...how HOT is he!?

I am losing myself in Eclipse just hoping it is not as emotional since I know my system could not handle another New Moon right now...I really thought they did a great job with Edward and Carlisle for that matter!

i made the mistake of telling one of my friends at work I hadn't read them either... 2 weeks later I've read all four, Midnight Sun and seen the movie!
